Kavindu vows to intensify oversight on Wavinya’s administration

Senator Agnes Kavindu has reiterated that she will not relent in doing her oversight work in Machakos County.

Speaking at Koma, Kavindu said that she was elected to ensure that the residents of Machakos get development from the county government and she would ensure that all services are delivered to the residents.

“My work is to legislate and oversight, I will not relent to do my work. I was elected to do my work and ensure that mwananchi gets development. That is why you hear me going to hospitals and inspecting projects to ensure that they are working well,” said Kavindu.

“Even the projects that were left behind by former governor Alfred Mutua I am following up to ensure they are not stalled and the mismanagement of funds is acted upon,” she added.

She went ahead and called on Governor Wavinya Ndeti to sort out issues with the doctors so as to ensure services in hospitals are back to normal.

This comes days after the senator visited the Matuu Level 4 facility and highlighted a case of negligence there with a patient left unattended.
