Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has taken on Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto for reducing the BBI agenda into a political duel.

Speaking at Maanzoni after a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting Kalonzo said that his party would also traverse the whole country campaigning for the yet to be launched BBI.

“Importantly, it provides a unique opportunity to address fears and concerns of millions of Kenyans, who feel excluded in our governance structure. As a party, we believe in an All-Inclusive Country where no one feels left behind. Through the BBI Framework, we need to have sobriety in debating issues raised by Kenyans. For that matter, it would be hilarious to reduce the BBI Agenda into a political duel between two leaders. ” The Wiper Party leader said.

Kalonzo warned that political utterances by a section of political leaders was likely to tumble the country into anarchy where he said that such leaders could not be entrusted with the leadership of the country.

“Beating the drums of war will not work and I appeal to these leaders to stand for a united Kenya and tell off those people who issue threats against fellow Kenyans because we are in full support of the President’s vision to leave behind a peaceful and united nation where no one lives under threats and fear, ” he said.

Kalonzo reiterated that he will not deputize anyone come 2022 and as a party, they will have him run the presidential flag.

“This party will not be number two to anyone. We have talked that this party will have a Presidential candidate and it’s not because we do not have a presidential candidate we surely have one presidential candidate who will be the one running for presidency 2022, wiper Party will have different candidates from all over the country, ” He added.

Last week, Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka had asked Kalonzo Musyoka to join forces with Deputy President William Ruto come 2022 so that he could deputize him in the election before someone else takes the position.
