Kalonzo orders his allies to Stop Raila’s Running Mate Debate and focus on campaigning for Raila

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka called upon Wiper Elected Leaders and his supporters to bring the Raila Odinga running mate debate to an end.

Kalonzo stated that they have been talking about him being Raila’s running mate for a long time, and thus they should end the debate and leave the decision to the committee that will choose Raila’s Running mate. He reiterated that he chose to support Raila in good faith and they should focus on hunting for Raila’s votes.

“We have to move because I said that I’ll support Raila for the third time kwa roho safi, but I also believe kwa roho safi needs reciprocity because if you act nicely or righteously towards your fellow man, things can get tough. I agree with Senator Kiio when we say that we should bring this conversation to an end, and I want all the media to quote that the party leader has asked all his supporters to stop the debate,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo also pointed out that they will sit and wait for the outcome and stop giving ultimatums.

“You don’t give an ultimatum, and I think Senator Kiio gave one, and I’m canceling that and let God do his will,” he added.

Before Kalonzo Speaking, Senator Kiio and Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi had reiterated that they would not accept anything less than Kalonzo being the next Deputy President of Kenya since they agreed to support Raila.

“If we are supporting Raila, he should also support Kalonzo to be the Deputy President, and there are no more stories, and we should stop talking about this thing today, and we just watch what they are going to do, but I assure you if they won’t give Kalonzo the post and they take the ugali, we will soil the soup,” Kiio said.

Gideon Mulyungi, on his other side, stated that Kalonzo stepped one step backward to support Raila. Thus, when one steps one step backward, the position they deserve is Deputy President and nothing else.

“These people who are looking for a number two elsewhere should be warned because we, as Wiper elected leaders, are not going to settle for anything less than the post of Deputy President, and if they make a mistake, they will go alone, and we can even go to the ballot,” Mulyungi threatened.
