Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka Friday condoled with the family of Former President Daniel Moi following the demise of June Moi Thursday.
Kalonzo in his condolence message on behalf of his family noted that he was deeply saddened by the death of June who was like a sister to him.
“Please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts at this most difficult and trying time for your family,” the message relayed via Senator Gideon Moi said.
“May our Good Lord give you the necessary fortitude to bear the loss of our sister June, and may He rest her soul in everlasting peace,” he added
The Wiper party leader was accompanied by Former Muranga Governor Mwangi wa Iria, DAP- Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa, and Ex- Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya among other leaders.
Chebet died aged 60 and her burial date is yet to be confirmed. She was the last daughter of the former President.
