Days after Defence CS Aden Duale disclosed that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka lost his shot at the Presidency in 2013 because of his casual talk, Kalonzo has answered Duale back.
Speaking at a burial in Matuu, Yatta – Machakos county, Kalonzo trashed Duale’s remarks stating that Duale was not present during the meeting with Uhuru and Raila and should be the last person to talk about what transpired.
“Someone called Duale wrote a book yet he was not there, saying that I was to be president but blabla happened and he was not in the meeting between Former president Uhuru Kenyatta or President William Ruto,” said Kalonzo.
The former Vice President did not disclose any further information on what transpired that day.
According to Duale in his just launched book ‘For the Record’, Kalonzo had said that Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto would be jailed by ICC.
Kalonzo’s talk infuriated Uhuru and Ruto who had come to talk to him about the presidency making them walk away.
The initial plan was for Kalonzo to vie for the presidency while being deputized by Uhuru Kenyatta so that if things didn’t go well at the ICC there would be a functioning Government.
