James Mwangi Shares moving Tribute a Month After Mercy Mawia’s demise

A month since celebrated Kamba radio presenter Mercy Mawia passed on, Her husband, James Mwangi, took to Facebook to share his deep sorrow and longing in an emotional post.

Mwangi expressed the depth of his grief, writing, “It is exactly one month, Mercy. I haven’t seen you, I haven’t heard your sweet voice, I can’t even hug you. How I wish I could wake up and find I was just in a dream.”

The post was accompanied by a visit to Mawia’s resting place, where he sought solace in being close to her once more. In his anguish, Mwangi questioned the circumstances of her untimely death, adding, “I had to come to visit you and spend time with you here, just to feel close to you. Why God, why? I love you mercy, I miss you terribly Kamuwetangi.”

Mercy Mawia, known for her captivating voice and vibrant personality on the airwaves, passed away last month after surgery, leaving behind a grieving family and a community of fans who adored her.

Her passing sent shockwaves through the media industry and among her listeners, many of whom have continued to share their condolences and memories of the late presenter.

In response to Mwangi’s heartfelt post, fans and friends offered comfort and encouragement. Gospel artist Stephen Kasolo commented, “But God knows why. Be encouraged bro. One day we will meet her.”

Judith Philip, added, “May God be your best comforter…..it’s hard to believe but God had a reason for this to happen. Every pain makes you stronger. James Mwangi Psalms 147:3, God heals the brokenhearted and the wounded ones. No matter how deep is your pain, God will mend it and help you find peace..”

Grace Ma Mwende said, “Hugs bro let’s accept the will of God and believe we will meet mercy one day in the land of no pain, regrets, bad omen, and all sorts of sorrows. We love you.”
