“It’s My Own Secret”: Kalonzo Musyoka Teases Mystery Behind 100 Cows delivered to Raila’s family

Wiper Front Patriotic Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sparked fresh buzz after cheekily dodging questions about the source of the 100 cows he took to Kang’o Ka Jaramogi in Bondo, Siaya County, on Thursday.

Speaking during the former National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi’s book launch in Nairobi on Friday night, the former Vice President said he had just returned from Luo Nyanza and urged people not to question the source of the 100 cows he had taken there, noting that it was his own secret.

He added that many people believed he kept a large number of cows, and admitted that it was true, explaining that besides growing green grams, his family also rears cattle.

“I’ve just returned from Luo Nyanza. Please don’t ask me where I got the 100 cows from . That’s my own secret,” Kalonzo said.

He added, “Some people think I keep a lot of cows, and it’s true. Besides growing green grams, we also rear some cattle.”

The Wiper boss led a delegation to Opoda Farm, arriving with the herd alongside several Wiper leaders, opposition figures, and supporters, as they gathered to pay their last respects to his long-time political ally, the late Raila Amollo Odinga.

The Wiper leader lauded the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for his pivotal role in advancing devolution in Kenya.

“We went out there, and I forgot to salute the champion of devolution, certainly a champion of democracy, the late Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga,” Kalonzo said.

He also admitted that he regretted not saluting Odinga or shouting “Aluta Continua” during the occasion, describing it as a missed opportunity to honour the late leader’s legacy.
