They say politics is a dirty game and there are no permanent enemies or friends. The Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament has been known to work closely with the government of the day.

In the runup to the 2017 general elections, Ndile was among leaders who dissolved their parties and joined jubilee. Apart from TIP TIP, other parties that folded up to join Jubilee include; Alliance Party of Kenya, New Ford Kenya, Ford people, PNU among others.

Fast Forward to 2019, Kalembe seems to be taking a different direction. During the Komarock two declaration, He pledged his allegiance to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

To the surprise of many, he said that Kalonzo is the undisputable Kamba kingpin and that he fully supported him.

“Najua nimekuja wiper leo na Kuna waliokuja kitambo, lakini Kuna msemo husema yule wa kwanza atakuwa wa mwisho na wa mwisho kuwa wa kwanza,” he said. He however failed to further elaborate the saying.

Kalembe was appointed to the Tanathi water works development agency together with Kivuvani Maingi and Agnes Muthama.

In 2017 Kalembe was among the rebel politicians that asked Kalonzo to retire from politics. They asked him to handover to a younger person as the Kamba Community kingpin.

“Kalonzo anafaa kuretire, hio nafasi ichukuliwe na mtu mwingine,”said Kalembe then.

Kalembe had contested for Mavoko parliamentary seat unsuccessfully in 2017 where he lost to Wiper candidate Patrick Makau.
