Speaking to journalists one of the fish traders narrated the ordeal saying that the County inspectorate officers came to their trading place and turned everything upside down by throwing their tables and Pans.

“They started throwing our tables and Sufurias down to the ground making us just run and flee because we couldn’t even save any of our fish as they were all thrown, ” he narrated.

He further added the inspectorate officers were violent as they left some of the traders with injuries after beating them during the confrontation.

“They came with big rungus and started beating us, I was beaten between my shoulders and others on their legs and even a customer was caught up in the fracas and not spared, ” he said.

One of the inspectorate officers sustained injuries after he fell from their vehicles while he was boarding it after the operation.
