“I did what I did to make this country better. Goodness me. I am a senior counsel and that is the level every advocate aspires. How would I have participated in an illegal, unconstitutional, mock oath? I had to uphold constitutionalism. From the word go when I was in Germany with my sick wife, I told Raila I could not participate in the illegal oath.” The Wiper party leader defended his decision to skip the swearing-in.
