How Lower Eastern senators ranked in the latest Infotrak survey

Infotrak Research and Consulting Wednesday made public results of a survey they carried out on the performance of senators since their election in 2017.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior emerged top in the country with a rating of 66.4 percent. Kipchumba Murkomen of Elgeyo Marakwet was second at 58.8 percent, Steve Lelegwe of Samburu third at 57.2 percent, Boy Issa Juma of Lamu was fourth at 55 percent while Fatuma Dullo of Isiolo closed the list of the top 5 with 54.6 percent.

Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua was position 19 nationally at 48.1 percent. His Machakos counterpart Boniface Kabaka ranked position 23 at 47.1 percent.

Golich Juma of Tana River was the lowest-ranked with 36.4 Percent. Wajir’s Ibrahim Ali was at position 46 with 39.1 percent. Paul Githiomi of Nyandarua was position 45 at 39.8 percent.

In the Eastern Region, Makueni Senator was position one followed by Adan Dullo of Isiolo, Kithure Kindiki of Tharaka Nithi, Kitui’s Enoch Wambua, and Boniface Kabaka of Machakos respectively.

Sampling for each county was done depending on the population with the counties with a higher population getting more samples.
