Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior has fired at Raila Odinga and the ODM Party after goons disrupted Kalonzo Musyoka’s presser on 17 July 2024 at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation.
Speaking during a development tour in Mbooni, Mutula said that the Wiper party will not be forced to join dialogue and Kalonzo must be respected after supporting Raila 3 times.
“I saw goons who stopped Kalonzo’s press conference. If I were to be asked I would ask him to leave Azimio. Raila will not force us to do what we don’t want, if he wants to join Ruto let him go and leave us alone. Kalonzo will not be forced to do what he doesn’t want,” Mutula said.
“It is extremely unfortunate. ODM must treat Kalonzo Musyoka with respect na si tafadhali. We will not accept disrespect from ODM we have supported them 3 times. We can even send bees to them. I condemn the acts of violence. What is now paining people is the constitution my dad left, they killed him and he left a constitution that can’t just be changed anyhow.”The Governor added.
Mutula Jnr said Kalonzo was the best person who would work well with the Constitution calling out public officials for opulence and looting public resources.
“I pray for peace, if you have never seen war just go to your knees and pray. When you substitute peace for war and anarchy you can never return to peace. If you want to try ask the people of Somali.. Kenya must remain a united country,” he cautioned
