Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has continued to attack Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka saying that he returned to Azimio alone and not with the Kamba community.
Speaking at Matinyani in Kitui West during the Kitui County Economic forum, Mutua claimed that the Kamba community has been despised for a long time by ODM Leader Raila Odinga who has been deceiving the community.
Mutua reiterated that the Kamba community will get nothing from the Azimio One Kenya coalition since Kalonzo returned for his own ‘stomach’. He added that Kalonzo has made the Kamba community not be respected by some of the political leaders because he proved to be guided by own selfish interests and not interests of the community.
“Kenyans are on the lookout to see that we will be fooled again by Raila because we have been outside the government for a long time and when I asked what the Kamba community will get from Azimio I was told to wait after they get to the government they will know what to give us. When I went to Ruto and asked him what we will get as a community, he told me to come and write an agreement that we will get roads, water, jobs, and 20 percent of the government and I will be the Deputy Prime Minister of Musalia Mudavadi and that’s why we say Kalonzo is in Azimio alone,” Mutua stated.
Mutua also called upon Raila to retire together with President Uhuru claiming his interest is just to be the president even for half an hour and he is not after the interest of the Kenyans.
“Uhuru is in the Azimio government and we as the community are not fools, we voted for Raila more than twice, and have never won because God doesn’t want him to. They are calling themselves ‘Baba na Mama’ but as for me I see ‘Babu na Nyanya’ and let them retire and in Kenya Kwanza, we will give them ‘Pesa ya wazee’ as President Uhuru said it will be released before other salaries,” Mutua added.
Governor Mutua was accompanied by Musalia Mudavadi and Governor Kingi who promised Kitui residents that the Kenya Kwanza government led by DP Ruto will ensure that the water problem in Ukambani is given priority. This is the fourth time Governor Mutua visited Kitui county to campaign for DP Ruto.
