Governor Mutua heckled at a rally in Machakos town with Azimio chants

Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua had a hard time trying to address residents at a rally in Machakos Town.

Mutua found it hard to sell Kenya Kwanza ideologies to the town residents who started chanting Azimio.

Mutua had to calm down the crowd saying that everyone deserved to be given his/her chance to address people as Kenya was a democratic country.

He further blamed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration for ‘refusing to release money’ to County Governments so that they could pay the contractors who owed them as well as other service providers. Machakos county so far has pending bills amounting to over 2.8 Billion.

“Am from a meeting of Council of Governors and Uhuru has refused to release money for the county governments to pay the contractors that we owe them and we are asking Uhuru where is the money, where has the money gone to,” said Mutua.

He further called on residents to check on the person they are going to elect to ensure that they elect someone who has their interests at heart, not someone who is going cripple the economy.
