Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary Edwin Sifuna has reacted to the exit of Wiper from NASA.

Sifuna hinted that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was going to be back in NASA and he had gone for a break.

Speaking at Kawethei location in Kangundo, Sifuna said that even if the Wiper party quit NASA coalition he had a surety that they were going to come back as both parties are fighting one enemy.

“Kalonzo and Raila both had talks and came to an agreement that they wanted to be out of the coalition. What I know and am sure of is that our paths will cross again as both of us are fighting one common enemy,” Sifuna said.

The Secretary-General further noted that the affiliate parties had a problem with the political parties’ fund and after having a conversation with ODM leader Raila Odinga and being given their money they now parted ways with ODM.

“The only issue we have been having with the other parties was the money given out to parties and because for a while they have been complaining, They had a talk with Baba and I can assure you as the secretary-general of ODM we have given them their share and after that, they told us they want to quit as there was nothing else,” Sifuna added.

The Wiper party announced its exit from the National Super Alliance (NASA) Monday after the party National Executive council adopted a resolution to quit NASA.

According to the party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the party has joined the One Kenya alliance in a bid to prepare for the 2022 race.
