Ex-Makueni Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana was thrown into mourning on New Year’s Eve after his Sister Lucy Ndiina passed away.
In a Facebook post, Kibwana broke the news saying, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Mrs. Lucy Ndiina Kibwana-Kioko, who rested this morning after succumbing to cardiac arrest. Together with her husband, Kioko Mandala, her children, and our extended families, we are deeply grateful to the doctors and other medical staff who cared for her over the past three years. “
“Special thanks to Universal Family Health Hospital, Makindu Level 4 Hospital, Taveta Level 4 Hospital, Lancet Laboratory in Voi, Luton Hospital in Nairobi, and Makueni Referral Hospital. Lucy fought courageously, holding firmly to her faith. Yet, the Lord gives, and He takes away. May His name be praised. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4.” Kibwana in the post went on.
Kibwana last year February lost his brother, Ndolo Kibwana. On breaking the News his followers consoled him and here are some of their reactions;
