Renown Kamba Presenters DJ Biado of Kamba TV and DJ Noma Noma of Athiani have clashed over the ‘President’ Title. Biado calls himself Benga Nation President while DJ Noma calls himself Mr. President.
On Friday, Noma Noma held a press conference where a blogger asked him about the upcoming crowning of Biado as Benga Nation President in December. Noma Noma in response said,” My presidency has not started now but as of 2013, I don’t know where my brother (Biado) was at that time and you see the fans know.”
“Secondly only the sitting president can challenge my Government, if he cannot lead I can set up an alternative government and assume office. That is me the president of Ukambani. My question to my brother is, if Ruto calls you to rule, you don’t have a minister, PS or cabinet, Chief of defense, or even opposition like I do. ” Noma Noma took on Biado.
Biado did not take these remarks lightly and took to Facebook to tell off Noma Noma saying, “Allow me to address this. I have Never ever used my brother’s brand or concept in my media career. PRESIDENT is a general word just like you can never claim a noun such as “HUSBAND “ is your name or brand. Tafadhali tutumie kiliko Kya ulu ketha kii kingi nikikwamu . I appreciate your work brother and I told you but naku wooka muno ningukwikalya nthi ngusomethye. I also don’t need Ati ma cabinet secretary to do my work I don’t, makunaa wia mwau eka kuthooa suva umatambue?”
