Stephen Kasolo and Stella Mengele have been given 7 days to reconcile before the case by Mengele proceeds.
Kasolo’s lawyer stated that apart from the 7 days his client and Mengele were given, the Directorates of Criminal Investigations also directed that the duo should not comment anything on the case on social media platforms.
“According to the investigations of the DCI they have been given 7 days if they opt to do a reconciliation they will come back to the DCI. They have been barred from giving out any comment either on Tiktok or any other social media platform,” said Kasolo’s lawyer.
The lawyer also hinted that it was now on Stella Mengele to prove the defamation allegations if the case proceeds adding, “he who alleges must prove”.
Yesterday Kasolo and Mengele went to Athi River Police Station to record their statements after Mengele filed a case against Kasolo for defamation.
Kasolo was seen with 2 lawyers and tens of supporters while recording his statements.
