CS Mutua hits back at Rigathi Gachagua

Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua has hit back at the second Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking in Garissa, Mutua accused the impeached DP of being a tribalist, saying the young generation in Kenya does not recognize tribes.

Mutua told locals that Rigathi wanted Noordin Haji removed from office because he was not from his community. He accused him of disrespecting people from other communities.

Mutua added that the current administration does not condone tribalism.

“We impeached him because he was a tribalist, you saw he wanted the NIS director removed from office because he is not from his tribe. Does he think people from Garissa don’t have brains to run a department?” Mutua posed.

“I saw him speaking to Ukambani stations and feeding people propaganda and lies, creating chaos because he has no job. He began disrespecting the people of Garissa, Ukambani, and other areas. Huyo jamaa wa suti kombo aambiwe, no one sends a post card to be born in any community, this government is for all people and we don’t want tribalism. Kenya is bigger than you, shame on you!”He added,

Speaking earlier in a media interview with Ukambani radio stations, Rigathi accused Mutua of being a fun lover, claiming he was not interested in the development of Ukambani.
