Producer and singer Toby Bisengo has shared his thoughts on controversial singer Ken Kijana, popularly known as Ndeke ya Muthanga, and his role at the recently launched radio Kwitu FM.
Bisengo weighed in on Ndeke’s current position at the station, where he co-hosts a show with Kelitu Ka Makueni and Ututi wa Kyuma from 10 am to 1 pm.
While Ndeke has made a name for himself, Bisengo believes his potential is yet to be fully realized.
He pointed out that Ndeke struggles in group settings, often getting lost in the conversation, which diminishes his ability to shine.
“Ndeke can do much better in a solo format, not in a dialogue setting,” Bisengo remarked. “When he speaks on his own, he does it well. But when he’s surrounded by others, he tends to get overshadowed.”

Bisengo went on to suggest that Kwitu FM consider giving Ndeke his own show, allowing him to connect with his audience without distractions.
“I would recommend Kwitu FM give him a solo show and see how he performs. He’s capable and has a solid listener base and his atar power could truly shine if given the right platform,” Bisengo concluded.
